The Los Angeles Cohort 2, starting training on April 3, is forming up and ready to start their online math course. Applications are open for Alaska Chort 6, Los Angeles Cohorts 3 and 4, and San Diego Cohort 2.
Next step in processing applications will be sending invitations to an interest meeting where we confirm you know what you are applying for, the requirements of the course and where in the country it is you want to be an apprentice. We then start contacting JATC’s to see if they can take you in. When we get that assurance we can then get an agreement in place, get you documentation for your SkillBridge packet and schedule training.
The Los Angeles location provides a hybrid course that requires 6 weeks of daily attendance in an online environment during set school hours (pacific time) and then 3 weeks of in person attendance in Commerce California. Anchorage requires 7 weeks of attendance in person, as does San Diego.
It is a great time to apply, so keep an eye on the website application form to watch for the choices to be updated.
