Before you apply

Make sure you meet the requirements and have the required documents listed below in PDF format.

NOTE:

Only apply to either the electrician or lineman pathway.
You cannot apply to both.

Electrician Application

Requirements

  • Apply no earlier than one year from terminal leave if active duty.
  • Active Duty and Veterans eligible up to 5 years from separation to application.
  • Character of Service as Honorable or General, under Honorable Conditions

Required Documents

  • An updated resume
  • If you are separated:
    • A DD-214 with your SSN blacked out.
  • If you are active duty:
    • You do not need a DD-214 now, it will be required later in the process.

Lineman Application

Requirements

  • Apply no earlier than one year from terminal leave if active duty.
  • Applications are limited to Veterans up to 5 years post separation.
  • Character of Service as Honorable or General, under Honorable Conditions

Required Documents

  • An updated resume
  • A DD-214 with your SSN blacked out.
  • If available:
    • A copy of your CDL A
